Step 1
Take your Bastion TKL PCB and install your choice of screw-in stabilizers. Once secured, place the plate foam on top of the PCB, followed by the aluminum switch plate. With everything aligned, install your hotswap switches into the PCB while working on a flat surface to ensure proper seating. Finish by installing your keycaps onto the switches.
Step 2
Install the S1 Daughterboard into the marble casing and screw it down snugly. Then, connect the included cable from the kit to the Daughterboard.
Step 3
With your PCB ready to go, connect the PCB to the Daughterboard, then insert the assembly into the aluminum frame. Carefully attach the magnetic top plate to complete the build.
User Warnings:
Do not overtighten the Daughterboard screws during installation. When installing the top plate, place it carefully to avoid damaging the casing or the magnets. Ensure the provided cable is used to assemble the kit, failing to do so may affect fitment. Avoid drops or careless handling, as this may chip or crack the stone casing.
