Welcome to Osidian. This website (the "Site") is operated by Osidian. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Osidian. By visiting our site and/or purchasing a product from us, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions (“Terms of Service”, “Terms”), including those additional terms and conditions and policies referenced herein and/or available by hyperlink.
Please read these Terms of Service carefully before accessing or using our website. By accessing or using any part of the site, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions of this agreement, then you may not access the website or use any services.
Section 1 - Order Accuracy & Eligibility
By placing an order on our Site, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence.
Customers are solely responsible for reviewing and verifying all order details—including shipping addresses, product specifications, and quantities—before completing checkout. Osidian is not liable for mistakes, typos, or incorrect information provided by the customer at the time of purchase. Once an order is placed, modifications cannot be guaranteed.
Section 2 - Pricing & Payment
All prices are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right at any time to modify or discontinue a product or Service without notice at any time. We shall not be liable to you or to any third-party for any modification, price change, suspension, or discontinuance of the Service.
Section 3 - Final Sale & Return Policy
All purchases of the Osidian TKL are final sale. Because our products are often limited or custom runs, we do not accept returns, refunds, or exchanges for buyer's remorse or accidental purchases.
Returns, replacements, or remedies are strictly limited to instances where the product is proven to be defective, damaged on arrival, or incorrect, as detailed in Section 4.
Section 4 - Defects, Warranty, & Claims
If your kit or product arrives defective, damaged, or incorrect, you must notify us within seven (7) days of delivery.
Proof Required: Your notice must include clear, unedited photographic or video proof of the defect or error.
Remedy: Upon verification, Osidian will, at our sole discretion, arrange for a replacement of the affected parts, a repair, or an alternative remedy.
Exclusions: This limited warranty does not cover aesthetic variances standard to manufacturing timelines, minor cosmetic blemishes on internal surfaces, or issues resulting from handling post-delivery.
Section 5 - Shipping & Delivery
While we packaging and dispatch orders with care, shipping is handled by third-party carriers. Osidian is not responsible or liable for shipping delays, transit interruptions, or lost packages caused by carriers, customs clearance processes, severe weather, or any other circumstances beyond our direct control.
Section 6 - Duties, Taxes, & Tariffs
For international orders, including shipments to the United States: The customer is entirely responsible for paying any and all applicable duties, tariffs, customs fees, taxes, or import fees associated with their order. These charges are imposed by the destination country's government and are not included in the product price or shipping costs paid at checkout. Osidian cannot predict or control these fees.
Section 7 - Proper Use & Assembly
The Osidian TKL and associated components are provided as-is. Mechanical keyboard kits often require manual assembly, tuning, and handling of delicate electronics. Osidian is not liable for any damages, faults, or failures arising from:
Misuse or physical abuse.
Modification, soldering errors, or improper assembly.
Use of incompatible components (switches, stabilizers, cables, etc.).
Section 8 - Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Osidian, our directors, officers, employees, or affiliates be liable for any injury, loss, claim, or any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, special, or consequential damages of any kind—including, without limitation, lost profits, lost revenue, lost savings, loss of data, or any similar damages—whether based in contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability or otherwise, arising from your use of any of our products or services.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Osidian’s total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to a purchase is strictly limited to the purchase price paid for the specific product in question.

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to update, change, or replace any part of these Terms of Service by posting updates and changes to our website. It is your responsibility to check our website periodically for changes. Section 10 - Governing Law
These Terms of Service and any separate agreements whereby we provide you Services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Canada and the province in which Osidian operates.
